Burnt remains of adult male found in Valley Village While responding to reports of a vehicle fire in Valley Monday night, firefighters discovered the burnt remains an adult male, authorities announced.  The situation unfolded just before 9 p.m. in the 12600 block of West Riverside Drive.  At the scene, crews with the Los Angeles Fire Department worked to put out a vehicle fire at the rear of a two-story commercial building.  “As they quickly extinguished the burning sedan without damage to the structure, they discovered the burned remains of an adult male adjacent to the vehicle,” LAFD said in a news release. The burnt remains of an adult male were discovered May 1, 2023, in Valley Village, adjacent to a burned-out vehicle. 2 Colma officers injured after suspect intentionally crashes car (KRON) -- Two Colma police officers were injured after an arrest for shoplifting ended in a crash, the Colma Police Department said. CPD said one suspect rammed an officer with his car. The theft happened at a store on the 1200 block of El Camino Real at about 5:45 p.m. The reporting party told police that one suspect was concealing items in the store and a second suspect was waiting in a vehicle outside.
